Originally from Buffalo, New York, Dr. David M. Deiboldt proudly serves families throughout the Washington, DC–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) region as a board-certified podiatric foot surgeon. For more than 25 years, he has helped children, adults, and seniors find lasting relief from foot and ankle pain so they can stay active and live comfortably.
Dr. Deiboldt earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine), graduating in the top 5% of his class. He completed advanced surgical residency training at Premier Surgery Center of DC in affiliation with Holy Cross Hospital, gaining extensive experience in both conservative and surgical foot and ankle care.
Dr. Deiboldt treats a wide range of conditions including plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, sports injuries, diabetic foot concerns, flat feet, and neuromas. He begins with conservative treatment whenever possible and takes time to clearly explain every option so patients feel confident in their care. When surgery is necessary, families trust his experience and precision.

An avid athlete, Dr. Deiboldt is a competitive ice hockey player, tennis player, cross-country runner, skier, and golfer. His active lifestyle gives him firsthand insight into sports-related foot and ankle injuries and the importance of returning patients safely to peak performance.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with his Doberman, Zephyr, as well as attending concerts and exploring fine wines. His appreciation for an active, balanced lifestyle reflects the same energy he brings to patient care every day.
